Duration: 9 nights/11 days (3 nights Athens, 1 night Olympia, 1 night Delphi, 1 night Meteora, 3 nights Santorini)

Day 1 : Arrive in Athens

Once you arrive in Athens, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free to rest.

Day 2 : Athens City Tour

Enjoy a morning city tour of Athens visiting the Acropolis & its museum. Spend the afternoon at leisure to stroll Plaka (old Athens section) an shop at the flea market in Monastiraki.

Day 3 : Olympia

From Athens drive through the Corinth Canal with a short stop. Continue to Epidaurus and visit the archaeological site and theater famous for its remarkable acoustics. The continue to Nafplion and Mycenae where you will visit the Lion Gate and the tomb of Agamemnon. Continue through the central Peloponnese to arrive in Olympia. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day4 : Delphi

In the morning, visit the archaeological site and the museum of Olympia. Then, drive via Patras to Rion, where you will cross The Rion-Antirion bridge, the world’s longest cable-stayed suspended bridge deck, widely considered to be an engineering masterpiece. Then continue through Nafpaktos and arrive to Delphi. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 : Kalambaka (Meteora)

In the morning visit Delphi, he center o the Ancient World, the “Omphalos” (navel) of the earth. On the slopes of Mt. Parnassus, in a beautiful landscape, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the treasury of Athenians, the Temple of Apollo, and the museum containing the sculpture of the bronze Charioteer. Then drive through Amphissa, Lamia & Trikala, to arrive in Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora, the gigantic rocks. Diner & overnight stay.

Day 6 : Athens

n the morning visit the breathtaking Meteora, which seem to be suspended in mid-air, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Then, in the afternoon start the drive back to Athens passing via Thermopylae with a short stop to see Leonida’s Monument. Arrive in Athens early in the evening.

Day 7,8,9 : Santorini

After breakfast, transfer to the Athens airport and take a short flight to Santorini. Transfer to your hotel. Enjoy three days in this beautiful island, renowned for its awesome landscape and the “Caldera”. Quaint cobbled walk ways lead to many beautiful Cyclades white washed buildings perched on the edge of a cliff in both villages of Oia and Fira. Be daring to ride one of the donkeys as part of the native charm of the island.

Day 10 : Return

Transfer from the hotel to Santorini airport for your return flight back to the U.S.A.
